That was phenomenal. I haven’t read a book this good in a long time. Lives up to every little bit of the hype, and exceeded it.
The story progressed well, it had enough twists that while I had an inkling about some of them, there were still plenty of surprises. The twists themselves didn’t come out of the blue, but when revealed, there were a lot of aha moments, where suddenly everything makes sense and connected.
It was incredibly well written with characters that felt very real, full of flaws and vulnerabilities. The main character, Jude was afraid, but still managed to kick ass.
